Salary: Under 18 £4.55 per hour and Over 18 £8.77 per hour
Hours: 6.40 Hours Per Week
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, 8.30am-9.10am and 3.15pm-3.55pm

The role of a School Crossing Patrol Officer is to ensure the safety of children and others waiting to cross the road or crossing at a designated point between prescribed times, without detriment to the health and safety of all other road users.
You must be able to work 5 days a week (mornings and afternoons) during school term times.
Full training and uniform will be provided.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Include:
To ensure the safety of children crossing the road at a designated point of points on their journeys to and from school
To operate hazard warning signs as appropriate
To maintain control over children who are awaiting instructions to cross
To use all uniform and equipment provided for personal safety and for the safety of children and other road users, especially when stopping traffic on the Highway
To regularly assess the risks associated with operating at the crossing site in order to identify any problems
Report problems and defects to the manager
